1947 - Terry Williams (New Christy Minstrels/First Edition) born in Hollywood California, formed the band The First Edition with musicians Kenny Rogers, Mike Settle, and Thelma Camacho. 1956 - Michael Wallace born in London, England. In 1961, Wallace relocated to Jamaica with his family and settled in uptown Kingston. 1961 - Dee C. Lee (Diane Catherine Sealy) born in Balham, south London, UK. She was a member of the British band Central Line under the aliases Dee Sealy in 1981 and Dee C Lee in 1983. She was also a backing singer for Wham!, and then became a member of The Style Council, as well as performing as a solo artist.

1970 - James Shaffer (guitarist for KoRn) is born in Bakersfield, California.
1971 - John Lennon and Yoko Ono joined Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention at New York’s Fillmore East Stadium for a jam session that was Lennon’s first stage appearance in almost 2 years.
1971 - The final edition of The Ed Sullivan Show included Gladys Knight and The Pips.

1987 - Simple Minds had their third consecutive #1 hit album in 🇬🇧 with “Live In The City Of Light” following 1984’s “Sparkle In The Rain” and 1985’s “Once Upon A Time”.
